With over 1000 seniors captured, and 11 years in the business, I know how to guide you through the entire process so your session feels easy, natural and completely yours. Every senior works with Tyler Atwood (hey there!), the owner and head photographer of The Summit Photography. I am also the main and only point of contact throughout the entire process.

LOCATIONS
The location of your session is the most important part of the whole process. I have carefully selected several locations that I think fit a wide rage of personal styles, as well as add character to any image that we take. Before you choose one of the following reach out to me and we can figure out the one that best fits you!
Scenic & Urban
Denver (modern)
The best for seniors who want a modern look. This spot has classy metal/concrete backdrops, city views, small gardens, red art installation plus park/creek access.
Denver (urban)
The best for seniors who want a more grunge/artsy look. This spot has street art, urban buildings, brick accents, old windows.
Denver (park)
The best for seniors who want a classic park look. This spot has gardens, a small lake, old trees and historic stucco clubhouse.
Denver (art)
The best for seniors who want a modern art look. Right by the art museum this spot has urban buildings, concrete accents, and unique alleyways.
Boulder (flatirons)
The best for seniors who want the best mountain backdrop. This spot has open fields, plus old trees/greenery down the adjacent neighborhood streets.
Boulder (creek)
The best for seniors who want a water/greenery look. This spot has all season greenery, a creek with small waterfall as well as a lake with rock crossing.
Ken Caryl
The best for seniors who want a diverse location. This spot has red rocks, old trees, mountain views and open fields.
Golden
The best for seniors who want a mountain rustic vibe. This spot has old historic buildings, mountain views, small gardens and fall river access.

The best for seniors who want a vintage barn look. This spot has old historic barns, a creek with greenery, plus an open field.

THE PROCESS
1 | Contact me through the contact page and tell me a little about yourself.
2 | Talk with me about the locations and select the one that works best for you.
3 | Pick a date and time. I only do afternoon sessions (best lighting!), and I only do two sessions per day, so I can really focus on my clients. Book early to get your preferred date and time!
4 | Arrive at the location at your chosen date and time! (I will send a Google Maps link with the exact location at the time of booking).

IMAGE PRICING
Once I've posted all your images to your personal online gallery, you will select between a digital option, prints, album, or a combination of them all to purchase. I don't do "packages" so you can custom build any combination of the items below.
Your session fee (based on your selected location) + $325 (the minimum image purchase amount), will be charged after the session is completed. This $325 will be put towards your final image purchase. If you decide to order more than the $325 minimum after seeing your proof gallery you will pay the difference at that time.
Digital Options
All digital options include full printing and usage rights. No watermarks and no printing restrictions.
Your selected digital images will always come via free and easy digital download, with the option to add on a backup USB drive if you wish.

Please note the images that you do not end up picking from your proof gallery will not be sent to you or included in an unedited format.
Unedited images will never be included/sent/provided for any reason as they are not a finished product.
A "Service Charge" of 3.7% will be applied to all payments for image hosting/backup and payment processing. This will cover image backup if you ever need access to your images again, or to download them again at a later date if you misplace them or delete them by accident as well as CC processing for each transaction.

FAQ
Who do I work with at my session?
Every senior works with Tyler Atwood, the owner and head photographer of The Summit Photography. He is also the main point of contact when you fill out the contact form and discuss scheduling your session!
How long is a session?
Because I’m a firm believer in getting the best images, regardless of time, my average session time varies, but is usually about an hour. The session fee includes all of my time, no matter how long we are on the shoot.
Is my yearbook image included in my session fee?
Yes! Your picture is included and will be sent directly to your school based on their stipulations (Please bring a copy of those stipulations to your session). You do not receive a copy of this image unless you include it in your image purchase.
How many outfits can I bring? Is there a limit?
There is no limit on how many outfits you can bring to your session! Again, I want you to have the best images possible, so included in the session fee are unlimited outfit changes. However, I recommend 1-2 so you don't have to spend to much time changing.
Can I bring a friend? Should I bring my parents?
This decision is totally up to you! I always advise my clients to bring somebody that they’re comfortable with, so they can tell you if your hair or clothes are acting weird, advise on outfit changes or simply make you laugh! There is no substitute for someone who has known you and your personality for years being there for your session.
If I bring a friend will you take pictures of us together?
Yes! As I said before it’s a great idea to bring a close friend and although I won’t make a whole session out of it, we will make sure to get some great images of you together so you can keep those memories. If you are looking for a dedicated “best-friend” shoot, contact me, as I have separate options for that.
Can I bring props to my session?
Sure! Bring anything you want! If you play guitar and want pictures with it go ahead. If you play a sport and want your letter jacket or treasured soccer ball, go for it. Pets are also welcome!
How long does it take for me to see my images after the session?
I have a seven day turn around time to get your images uploaded. About a week after your session expect an email from me with the link to your personal online gallery, where you can favorite, share, and start to decide what you would like to purchase!
How long will my personal image gallery be online?
Your online gallery with all of your images will be online for as long as you need. If you order within the first 30 days your turn around time is guaranteed with the time frame stated below. After 30 days I edit on a first come first serve basis so it could take longer.
How long does it take for me to get my printed items after ordering?
This varies based on what you order, however, usually it takes about 30-60 days for your items to arrive from my printers and then send them off to you.
How do I receive my "digital images" once ordered?
You receive your digital images by download through your online gallery. Once you purchase your digital images, I guarantee a 30-60 day turn around time to get them back to you (depending on how many and what you order). I will supply the download code for you to enter and download them from your online gallery! If you submit your order a month past your session there is no guaranteed turn around time, 60 days will be just an estimate, as more prompt orders take precedence.
How many schools do you usually work with?
I typically work with (meaning in their preferred photographer program) about 10-15 schools each year – all along the front range. If I do not work with your school personally, that is totally fine! No matter what school you go to I will be sure to get your image to them (also, there’s a good chance I have worked with students from your school before), so no matter where you go, you can always schedule.
When is payment due?
Payment will be due after your session. Your session fee (based on your selected location) + the $325 order minimum will be charged after the session is completed. If you decide to order more than your $325 minimum after seeing your proof gallery you will pay the difference at that time.
What type of payment do you accept?
I accept cash and credit/debit cards. No checks of any kind will be accepted.
Are there any other charges or fees?
